WHAT FEEDS US: MEMBERSHIP

The What Feeds Us Membership exists to keep this work close to daily life.

Not as content.
As practice.

It’s a place to ask real questions—about food, family, authority, exhaustion, and what actually works inside a home.

It’s where cooking stops being a a chore and becomes a rhythm again.

Where meals are less about outcomes and more about formation.

This is not a community built on constant interaction.
It’s a shared space organized around clarity, repetition, and use.

You don’t need to keep up.
You don’t need to optimize.
You don’t need to agree with everything.

You show up.
You cook.
You ask what matters.
You take what works and leave the rest.

The structure is light by design.
The consistency is intentional.
The work is meant to live in your kitchen—not on a screen.

This is about staying oriented.
About not drifting back into noise.
So we can reorient or
come back, regularly, to what actually matters.

Food is the doorway.
Living is the point.

A container to inspire how we cultivate and nurture the true sense of Home.

A place you’ll never feel like the crazy one for going all in for your family.

What This Is (And What It’s Not)

What Feeds Us is for people who want:

  • Real food, not food theater
  • Calm presence at home, not chaos
  • Rhythm instead of optimization
  • Tools that actually get used
  • Guidance without dogma
  • Life without pretending you’ve got it all figured out

This is not about perfection.
It’s not about rigid rules, trends, or biohacks.
And it’s definitely not about adding more pressure to your plate.

Food is the easiest part.

The gold is how it feels to live this way.

To model ownership of your life and health to your kids.

The Community

What Feeds Us is a place to stay close.
To ask real questions.
To cook real food.
To talk about the stuff underneath it all.
To be reminded—weekly—that you’re not doing this alone.

It’s structured, but human.
Consistent, but flexible.
Grounded, but alive.

Paid Membership — $15/month

This is for people who want ongoing access, not one-off inspo.

***If you're not a current Substack subscriber it will ask you for your email 1st before proceeding to payment.

You get:

Community

One of the quieter gifts of this membership is the people.

Families who are paying attention.
Parents who care about how life is actually lived inside the home.
People who value rhythm, responsibility, and food as something more than fuel.

You begin to notice familiar questions.
Shared instincts.
A common orientation, even when approaches differ.

There’s no expectation to participate beyond what’s useful.
No performance of connection.

But over time, there’s a steady reassurance:
Others are doing this too.

Cooking real food.
Choosing simplicity.
Building habits that last.

That shared context matters.

Not because you need a community—but because it’s easier to stay steady when you’re not the only one facing in this direction.

Weekly Thread Asking Me whatever the heck you want (Chef’s Office Hours? ;)

Once a week, I open a private thread where you can ask:/or we can share:

  • Cooking questions
  • Parenting questions
  • Emotional life questions
  • “What would you do here?” question
  • Real-world, messy, honest questions

Sometimes it’s about pasta.
Sometimes it’s about yelling at your kids.
Often, it’s both.

I answer directly inside the thread—written, grounded, and occasionally with short video replies when it helps.

This is where the real work happens.

Two Live Workshops / Classes Per Month (via Zoom)

Twice a month, we meet live, together.

Sometimes I teach.
Sometimes I cook.
Sometimes we talk about life and food together.
Sometimes I bring my friends and sometimes my kids and yours too.

Examples of what we cover:

  • How to not yell at your kids
  • Cooking when you’re exhausted
  • Pasta without the crash
  • The Organ Class
  • What to buy and not to buy at the supermarket
  • Steal my dinners this week
  • School lunches that don’t break you
  • Picking your pots and pans
  • Pots, pans, knives—what matters and what doesn’t
  • Food combos that sound wrong but taste incredible
  • 30-minute meals
  • No cook meals

Classes will be recorded.

You don’t have to “keep up.”
You just show up when you can.
